Essie Mint Candy Apple and Eternal Optimist, China Glaze Fade Into Hue and Travel in Colour
The glitter I used here is Salon Perfect in Shocked. It looks so cool in person. The hot pink flecks seem to pop out from the blue ones so that it looks 3-dimensional.
My glorious pinky nail, which my husband makes fun of, calls my coke nail, and pretend-threatens to break off. This is kind of a personal challenge, just for fun. I started growing out my nails around the end of December when I quit working at Subway. Once I noticed my pinky nail was getting exceptionally long, I stopped trimming it to see how long it would get before it broke or I gave up and cut it.
Last summer I got a job that didn’t allow nail polish or acrylics, so I was finally able to break my constant acrylic habit and let my nails recover. Unfortunately, constant handwashing and dishwashing kept my nails in a fragile, broken states. Then I got fired on Christmas Eve, so I started growing my nails out. And here they are now. I can’t remember the last time my natural nails looked so long and perfect. :)
Finally, after several months of working at a Subway that didn’t allow nail polish, I can paint my nails again. And having time off from daily dish washing allowed my to be able to grow my nails out to a decent length without them breaking all the time. This pleases me.
